Delivery Details

Shipment

Terms and Conditions: All goods are shipped at the risk of the purchaser. Each delivery must be immediately inspected. Claims for short shipment or faulty goods must be made within three working days of receipt of goods. Claims for damaged goods must be made to the carrier. Goods can only be returned by prior agreement with Creative Glass and must be undamaged and in the original packaging. The shipping cost for returned goods is the purchaser's responsibility. No returns on glass or books.

Orders cancelled by the customer will be subject to a 10% administration and handling fee. 

Subject to availability we aim to despatch orders placed before 1.00pm on the same working day (Monday to Friday). Orders shipped on a Friday will be delivered on the following Monday. If delivery is required on a Saturday, a supplementary charge will be applied - see chart below.

All shipments are sent by Next Day Courier (next working-day) or First Class Royal Mail.  We aim to deliver goods within our anticipated delivery times. However, we cannot be held liable for any loss caused to you by late delivery. If goods sent by Next Day Courier are not received within the expected timescale please advise us immediately by email or telephone.

A signature will be required on delivery of courier shipments - always write ‘Goods Unchecked’ alongside your signature - never sign for a shipment which appears to be damaged or which you see receiving rough treatment.

Heavy or Remote Shipments

Some consignments are so heavy (particularly sheet-glass in large quantities) that they need to be shipped on a pallet and/or crated, which adds significantly to the total weight.
These extra costs are calculated by the carriers and are beyond our control.

In the case of large sheet-glass orders, awkwardly-shaped items, kilns and other heavy machinery, Creative Glass UK reserves the right to adjust the shipping cost according to the final weight and volume of the full order. In such cases, you will be contacted by a member of staff regarding extra shipment charges.

Costs would not be adjusted without the customers approval, and should an increase in charges apply to your order, you will be contacted by a member of the Creative Glass UK staff before packing commences.

The table shown below is intended as a guide only. Under certain circumstances consignments may be calculated by volume rather than weight.
