UV Tin-Side Detector Lamp for Float Glass

Used to detect the tin bath side of Float glass.

The UV tin side detector can be used in all lighting conditions. Medium / dark daylight is ideal. Switch on the UV lamp and hold it against the glass surface and look through the glass.

• milky / white = illuminated side is the tin bath side  
• blue / clear = illuminated side is the air side

The lamp produces short-wave UV light (254 nm) which can be harmful to eyes and skin. We recommend wearing the UV-absorbing safety goggles 951.360.
