The 2135 filter has been classified as a particulate filter, and is thus able to be used for protection from mechanically and/or thermally generated particulates, ie. it provides protection against dusts, mists, fumes and certain toxic materials.

It can be used on all 3M 6000, 7000 and 7500 series half and full face masks and can give up to level P3 protection depending on mask selected.

It is lightweight, durable, flame retardant and water resistant.  It has a low breathing resistance and a high filter efficiency.

This product has been tested to the EN143 standard and is CE-marked. It is capable fo providing protection against particulates at levels of up to 10 times the exposure standard when used with product 980.352.

NB Respiratory protection is only effective when used in accordance with instruction booklet supplied with the relevant 3M face mask.
